Wine by the Glass
Ramey Sonoma Coast Chardonnay 2008
This month we are featuring Ramey Sonoma Coast Chardonnay 2008
wine by the glass. Excellent for the spring weather with warmer climates.
90 Robert M. Parker Jr.'s The Wine Advocate, December 2010
Even better is the 2008 Chardonnay Sonoma Coast (90), which offers up notes of crushed rocks, waxy
brioche, white peaches, white currants and buttered citrus. This fresh, medium-bodied wine possesses
both flavor authority and finesse.
This delicious Chardonnay manages to be light on its feet yet filled with rich
citrus and mineral flavors and a crisp and precise feel in the mouth. Well
balanced and easy on the palate, with a sense of purity and transparency that
suggest it will age well. |

Food For Thought
Healthy food with style. We’ve been working with local and national farmers to
bring you the freshest ingredients. Try some of our features including organic v
egetable wraps, soups and salads for lunch. Naturally raised meat and fish
paired with some of the most flavorful accompaniments like the “Chef’s Garden”
organic vegetable toy box or heirloom beets with blue cheese for dinner.
Sustainability is important to us, and we make every effort possible to feature
those options.
This year we have received numerous emails from loyal guests who
would “love to see” an item on our menu. So I’ve decided to take a new
approach, and while not every suggestion will be executed, I will do my best. For
the month of April, email your ideas to chefbrian@mwaterfrontgrille.com.
This can be anything from a veal chop or lamb rack that you have been craving, to a lasagna or vegetarian
dish. I’m looking forward to trying new things.
Hope to see you at M soon - Cheers,
Chef Brian Roland |
