Sometimes a wine comes along that is so good that excitement becomes infectious. That is how we feel
about the 2007 Wild Iris Sauvignon Blanc. We seriously can’t wait to share it!
The ‘07 Wild Iris; crafted by new winemaker Frederic Delivert, is absolutely the stand out in five vintages
of our Sauvignon Blanc. Past vintages of Wild Iris have graced the table of governors and Hollywood
stars. It has been poured at famous restaurants in the US, Hong Kong and Canada.
Our 2007 Wild Iris is the perfect wine for an elegant first course, Spring and Summer sipping or a laid

Food For Thought

Lunch, Lunch, Lunch at M! Check out our new menu including our all new Turkey Reuben,
Open Faced Pulled Pork Sandwich, Fish n Chips, Gourmet Grilled Cheese or Duck, Fig & Goat Cheese
Panini. Be sure to let your server know if you are on a time
restraint and need to get back to work and we’ll get your food out fast.
Email us some of your favorite dishes or ingredients and we’ll let you know when we’re
featuring them. This year we have received numerous emails from loyal guests who would “love to see”
an item on our menu. So I’ve decided to take a new approach, and while not every suggestion will be
executed, I will do my best. Email me your ideas at chefbrian@mwaterfrontgrille.com. This can be anything from a Veal Chop or Lamb Rack that you have been craving, to a Lasagna or Vegetarian dish. I’m looking forward to
trying new things.
Finally, I want to highlight the success of the Southwest Florida Food and Wine Fest this year.
My dinner was spectacular and I am very proud of what my team put together. This year's auction brought in a record breaking $1.6 million, which was up about 60% from last year. Congratulations to
the Wine Fest team.
